CONNEXUS CREDIT UNION'S PRIVACY NOTICE

At Connexus, we know that our relationship with our members is based on trust. As such, please be assured that your personal and financial privacy is our priority. We have strict procedures in place to ensure that your privacy is safeguarded, and we encourage you to read this notice to learn more about how we collect, use, and keep your personal financial information confidential.

Your credit union is committed to providing you with competitive products and services to meet your financial needs, which necessitates that we share information about you to complete your transactions and to provide you with certain financial opportunities. In these situations when it is allowed by Federal regulations and the respective member's state regulations, we may disclose all of the information we collect, as described below, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial service providers, such as securities broker dealers and insurance agents, with whom we have joint marketing agreements. To protect our members' privacy, we only work with companies that agree to maintain strong confidentiality protections and limit the use of information we provide. We do not permit these companies to sell to other third parties the information we provide to them; nor do we sell information to third parties.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND MAY DISCLOSE ABOUT YOU

We collect and may disclose nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as your name, address, social security number, assets, and income;
  • Information about your transactions with others, or us such as your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions, and credit card usage;
  • Information we receive from nonaffiliated third parties, such as consumer-reporting agencies, relating to your creditworthiness and credit history; and
  • Information obtained when verifying the information you provide on an application or other form, such as from your current or past employers or from other institutions where you conduct financial transactions.

We may also disclose nonpublic, personal information we collect about you under other circumstances as permitted or required by law. These disclosures typically include information to process transactions on your behalf, conduct the operations of our credit union, follow your instructions as you authorize, or protect the security of our financial records. If you terminate your membership with Connexus Credit Union, we will not share information we have collected about you, except as permitted or required by law.

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. Our employees are trained in the importance of maintaining confidentiality and member privacy. Childrens Online Privacy Protection

Connexus' website is not designed to attract children and we do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information from our website about children under thirteen years of age.

Online Tracking

Connexus uses cookies and other technologies to evaluate our web site and to track advertising leads and campaigns from banner Ads, and to gather information about site visitors' browsing activities. Connexus may hire a third party ad service company to track and report performance of advertising and marketing campaigns to and from Connexus and third party web sites and within our own website.
