Our philanthropic program, Connexus Cares, is giving with purpose — caring for our members, employees, and communities.
Last year, Connexus Cares donated over $2.5 million to philanthropic causes, gratefully using our resources to support organizations that are improving lives and benefiting communities nationwide. We’re proud to release our first Annual Impact Report, detailing the ways in which we allocated funds and time in order to give with purpose in 2021.

Connexus Cares is proud to announce a $125,000 donation to the Feeding our Communities with United Services’ (FOCUS) building relocation project, a dollar-for-dollar campaign match of all donations made between May and August of 2021.
“The outpouring of support we’ve seen for FOCUS is truly inspirational, and Connexus Cares is thrilled to be able to match the full $125,000 in donations we challenged the community to raise for this great cause,” said Boyd Gustke, Connexus President & Chief Executive Officer.
FOCUS was established in 2020 when three local non-profits merged resources to address food insecurity in the South Wood County area of Wisconsin. Operating in a centralized location allows FOCUS to efficiently provide services such as warm meals and monthly food allotments to community members in need.

Our employees are encouraged to volunteer their time, take part in fundraisers, and be a force for good in the community. Connexus Cares depends on and is humbled by their dedication and generosity.
We provide our employees with Volunteer Time Off (VTO) hours that they can use to support local non-profits. So far, our employees have volunteered nearly 3,000 hours to our communities.
Connexus offers a dollar-for-dollar employee donation match of up to $5,000 per employee, per year. This helps our employees maximize their give back in the ways that mean the most to them.
Our employees are involved with charitable organizations and events nationwide. Plus, they plan new ways to give back, like our “Season of Giving” Campaign.
We donate resources so that charitable organizations can focus on doing the work that matters: providing meaningful services that improve lives and benefit our communities. Our goal is to help these organizations not only sustain their operations but grow them.

Connexus Cares has provided resources, time, and funds to nearly 150 local and national charities. We prioritize support and funding to organizations that provide basic humanitarian needs (like food, shelter, and crisis services) and those that work with at-risk youth, seniors, and veterans.
