Meet our Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team, who are committed to ensuring our members are at the heart of everything we do.

Board of Directors

Connexus' Board of Directors are elected by the membership to manage the credit union in a manner that keeps the Connexus member-owners' best interests at heart. Board members contribute to setting policies, approving budgets, and all other functions that help guide the success of the credit union, represent the members' best interests, and ensure Connexus maintains a sound financial condition.

Board Chair

Alita Lobner joined the Connexus Board of Directors in 2018. She was previously the Board Secretary for Bull's Eye Credit Union. Alita's 27 years of experience at Verso Corporation included various roles in Finance, holding the position of Senior Financial Analyst at the time of her retirement.

Kelsi Seubert

Vice Chair

Kelsi Seubert has been a Board member since 2017. Previously, she held the role of Board Associate. Kelsi currently serves as the Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator at Northcentral Technical College (NTC), where she has articulated the collective narrative of the College since 2014. Prior to her time at NTC, Kelsi spent her career in media at WAOW TV-9.

Shanna Yonke

Secretary/Treasurer

Shanna Yonke has been a Board member since 2017. She has served as an attorney at Ruder Ware, L.L.S.C., in Wausau, WI, since 2012, where she focuses her law practice on trust, estate, and business succession planning.

Steven C. Derebey

Director

Steven C. Derebey has been a Board member since 2015. He previously served as Chairman of the Board for the Air Line Pilots Association Federal Credit Union that merged with Connexus in 2015. Steve retired in 2016 as a Captain at United Airlines after a 42-year career in aviation.

Todd McDonald

Director

Todd McDonald joined the Board of Directors in 2011. Professionally, he has more than 20 years of experience in design, utility coordination, and project management roles at leading civil engineering consulting firms such as Mi-Tech, Becher Hoppe, Graef, and Terra Resources.

Michael Prestileo

Director

Michael Prestileo joined the Board in 2021. He serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Strategy, Product, & Underwriting for Guardian Life's Group Benefits business since 2020. Prior to that, Michael held senior executive leadership roles at both Lincoln Financial Group and Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Kim Smith

Director

Kim Smith has been a Board member since 2016, and previously served as Chair of Cintel Federal Credit Union. Her 39-year career at Cincinnati Bell included many roles in Customer Service, Finance, and Human Resources, where she was the Senior Director of HR Operations and Compensation at the time of her retirement.

Steve Zeinemann

Director

Steve Zeinemann has been a member of the Board since 1997. He has served as a Financial Associate at Thrivent Financial since 2010. Prior to joining Thrivent Financial, he served in a variety of management positions at Liberty Mutual such as Service Operations Manager and Manager of Software Development.
