Welcome to Connexus Credit Union

We’re excited to have you as a new member-owner of our credit union. This page will walk you through the next steps and answer any questions you may have.

How You Became a Connexus Member

You recently took out a loan with our partner Aqua Finance. Within your financing agreement, you authorized your loan to be assigned to Connexus, requiring you to become a credit union member.

To become a member of any credit union, you must have a savings account. Since credit unions are owned by their members, this account represents your ownership in Connexus Credit Union.

You will notice your new Connexus share savings account currently has a balance of $5. That $5 was deposited by Aqua Finance to help you get started as a Connexus Credit Union member.

Your Next Steps as a Member

You will soon receive a letter in the mail that includes your member number and account details. Until then, you can set up loan payments with Aqua Finance.

Though your loan was purchased by Connexus, your loan payments will still be made to Aqua Finance. to get started.

Do I make my loan payments to Connexus or to Aqua Finance?2021-10-15T15:02:53-05:00

Your loan payments will be made to Aqua Finance. Payments can be made online at AquaFinance.com. To get started, you’ll need your Aqua Finance account number and the enrollment token from the bottom left corner of your Aqua loan statement. In addition, payments can be made by calling 800.356.3329, or can be mailed to the following address:

Please contact Aqua Finance if you have questions about your loan terms, rates, payoffs, and standard payments. They can be reached at 800.356.3329.

Am I required to use my Connexus savings account?2019-08-26T09:47:56-05:00

If you choose not to actively use your Connexus savings account, that’s okay. However, Connexus offers some of the nation’s highest yields and lowest rates. We encourage you to browse our website to see how we could help you more than your current financial institution.

Will I receive any fees for my Connexus savings account?2019-08-26T09:49:03-05:00

No, we have waived all savings account fees until your loan balance is paid off.

Can I close my account and end my Connexus membership?2019-08-26T09:49:49-05:00

Your Connexus savings account must remain open until your loan balance is paid off. Once the loan is paid off, we will be happy to close your account and send you the remaining balance, if you choose.
